Austin started the Home MTC!!

Austin started his 3 week at home MTC! I was worried about him doing this. I wanted him to go to the REAL one in Provo, but because of Covid-19 it would not happen. Well, I was wrong. Austin rocked his home MTC experience! His first companion was Elder Echols from Arizona. He really enjoyed being paired with him. He loved his district. It was a wonderful experience. I made sure we had unlimited chocolate milk and ice cream sandwiches (Nick told us about the chocolate milk and his mission prep teacher at BYU-I told him about the sandwiches), so I wasn't going to forget those key items once he started the MTC whether it was from home or not. He was busy from 1:30-8:30pm with a few short breaks and a break for supper. He had companion study in the morning for about an hour. There were workshops he had to attend as well, so he stayed pretty busy. When he was done in the evening we played games or watched Disney movies or fun things on Disney+. His dad was his companion at home. Tyler and Courtney got to spend the last week with him while he was finishing up here. We cherished our time with him. He's gonna be such a good missionary.
